OUR HISTORY
2006
ALD Trade Oy (DR1.fi) was founded. First drones in Finland with the University of Oulu. We made a quadrotor that was following a model car.
2012
First consumer drones to the Finnish market (Walkera MX400). In 2015 we introduced the first FPV racing drones (Emax Nighthawk)
2017
First drones to operate in 4G network and server based systems to control multiple drones from one UI. First heavy drones for argiculture and fire fighting (over 25kg). We did the first food deliveries in Otaniemi, Espoo and medicine deliveries in Lauttasaari, Helsinki with our 4G drone systems.
2019
Won three prices at the first drone tournament. In 2020 made world’s first 8K 360 live broadcast thru 5G connection from a drone with Elisa Oyj. In 2021 made the first 5G controlled drones that were flown from Dubai (drone was in Espoo).
2022
First 5G controlled FPV racing drone that we flew at Elisa ICT-day event in Finlandia house. Made autonomous drone food delivery to the Helsinki Olympic stadium with our 5G drones. In 2023 won the second drone tournament by landing our 5G drone to a moving boat (BVLOS, 5G videolink and control).
